I will implement independent budget audits, real-time public dashboards so residents can see where their tax dollars go, and enforce strict competitive bidding on contracts to end insider deals and political favoritism.
No more blank checks for wasteful programs or “corruption tax” projects. Every department will be held to measurable performance standards, and programs that fail to deliver results for residents will be cut. Surpluses will go into a rainy-day fund—not into political slush funds —so Miami is financially prepared for the future.

This starts with fully supporting our police officers, providing them with the resources needed to combat violent crime, and giving them the mandate to address property crime that undermines our quality of life. At the same time, accountability is non-negotiable: we will back the blue while ensuring there are no 'bad apples' in uniform. This balanced approach—support with responsibility—keeps our neighborhoods safe and builds trust between officers and the communities they serve.

Water, Roads, and Storm Protection: We must accelerate investment in stormwater drainage, seawalls, and pumps to protect against flooding and sea level rise. Additionally, we need to fix and maintain roads, sidewalks, and bike lanes in all of Miami's neighborhoods to support the Miami mayoral campaign's vision for a resilient city.
Resilient Miami 2050 Plan: Establish a long-term climate adaptation blueprint with enforceable benchmarks to ensure our community is prepared for future challenges.
Green Infrastructure: Promote solar energy, urban tree canopy expansion, and 'cool roofs' to lower heat island effects, contributing to a sustainable Miami.
Protecting Miami’s Future: We must safeguard Miami’s parks and green spaces while expanding them throughout the city. At the same time, preserving affordable housing ensures families can stay in their neighborhoods. Protecting nature and homes keeps Miami livable and welcoming for generations.
